Houston Students in need of Art Supplies

Houston Independent School District (HISD) supports scholars in ways of physical safety, academic integrity and social emotional needs. Through the arts we are able to strengthen our student’s experiences in all of these areas and open doors that may never open. When we arm our children with a paintbrush or a bow, we give our young artists with what they need to grow into productive, well-adjusted citizens.  

Hurricane Harvey changed the lives of every Houstonian. Your support in helping to replace art supplies and resources needed urgently by the following schools is deeply appreciated. Below is a list of HISD schools, and number of students who will be helped by your donation, all of which were affected in far reaching ways (to date):

  • Canvases (11" x 14" or smaller are ideal, but other sizes are great too)
  • Modeling Clay - especially white. self-drying
